The Checkmat Academy

Checkmat is one of the highest rated Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu associations in the world. Founded by multiple-time world champion Leo Vieira. The proof is in the pudding! Our world class training has produced champions all over the world from the Brazilian National Championship and the Abu Dhabi Combat Club (ADCC) to the IBJJF World Championship and even as far as Pan Asians in Japan. You can go to any national or internationally recognized competition almost anywhere in the world and you will always find Checkmat competitors there. This is why we are proud to bring the 1st official Checkmat BJJ Academy to the Angeles City area.

Leo Vieira

Leonardo Alcantara Vieira commonly known as Léo Vieira or Leozinho is a Brazilian grappler, a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Instructor, and Competitor. He was born March 23, 1976 in Rio de Janeiro Brazil. He is the eldest of the Viera brothers, who lead of and fight for Checkmat.

Checkmat Clark

Checkmat clark is Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu school and team, located at Building 35-C Philexcel Business Park, Jack Nasser Drive Clark Economic Development Zone: Angeles City, Pampanga, Philippines 2025, it was founded in 2019 by Jeffery Calma.
